Welcome to the signup for WEG Automation University Regional Training. We want to make sure you are aware of a few things before you sign up:
- You must register for the class to attend.
- Regional training classes are different daily, so please select the training you’d like to attend.
- Regional training requires the completion of online training before arrival to participate.
- Only book your hotel or flights once you have a confirmation you are in the class and your prerequisites are completed. You will be sent an email to confirm you can do this.
Tuesday: Automation Products Selection and Sizing |

Throughout the course, you will learn how to build a combination starter, select the correct contactor, VFD, and soft start, and participate in hands-on labs to reinforce your learning. | ![]() |
Who Is This Class For: This training is for people looking to correctly size contactors, VFDs, and soft starts for motor control applications. It includes Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Product Specialists, and Engineers handling the design of control panels.

Wednesday & Thursday: Basic Drives and Soft Starters |

Overview: This class provides hands-on training with the complete range of WEG variable frequency drives (VFDs) and soft start product offerings. Specific emphasis is focused on WEG Drive and Soft Start offerings. The class will give participants the fundamental understanding required to install and start up WEG low-voltage Drives and Soft Starters. |
Who Is This Class For: This is for Product Specialists and Controls Professionals looking for hands-on experience setting up drives.

Overview: This hands-on training course is designed to give participants a fundamental understanding of the configuration and application of WEG’s Pump Genius. You will gain the skills needed to utilize this powerful tool effectively through practical exercises and real-world scenarios. | ![]() |
Who Is This Class For: This is for Product Specialists and Controls Professionals who have completed the “Basic Drives and Soft Starters” class and will be working with pump applications.
