SUMMARY:Medium Voltage Service Center Training
DESCRIPTION:This class will give the participant a detailed understanding of WEG MV drives for a service technician. Topics will range from troubleshooting to preventive maintenance. Through hands on training\, the student will learn troubleshooting of common problems as well as replacement of common parts in the MV drive. Upon successful completion\, the student will be able to troubleshoot and repair WEG MV drives in common applications. \nObjectives: Train professionals to troubleshoot and repair the MV WEG drives. Participants who successfully complete the course will be authorized to troubleshoot WEG MV Drives. \nWho Should Attend:  WEG Authorized Automation Service Partners or those seeking to become Authorized to work with MV Drives. \nPrerequisites: Knowledge of electrical principles\, power electronics and control circuits. The ability to use multi-meters\, amp clamps\, oscilloscopes and computers.  Knowledge of required safety practices and procedures.
